Le BonPom is a New York functional-art fan studio creating collectible folding fans that unfold stories as they open. You can shop our collections or commission a custom story.

Are the fans functional?

Yes. Le BonPom fans are designed to be used, held, gifted, displayed, and collected. Lightweight enough to use. Beautiful enough to display. Special enough to gift.

How do the fans open?

Each fan begins as one shape and opens into another, turning a simple gesture into a small performance.

Are the fans handmade?

Each fan is carefully designed, laser-cut, printed in rich color, hand-assembled, and finished with a copper rivet.

What materials are used?

Le BonPom fans are made with wood, vinyl, nylon, metal hardware, adhesive, sublimated artwork, and copper rivet details.

Are the fans fragile?

Le BonPom fans are designed to be used. They are lightweight, artful, and fully functional — made with a premium design mechanism and carefully chosen materials that make them as strong as they are beautiful.

Like any functional art object, they should be handled with care. Open and close gently, avoid forcing the fan open or closed, and store it closed in a dry place when not in use.

Are the fans safe for children?

Le BonPom fans are intended for adult use only. They are functional art objects, not toys.

They may contain small parts and should be kept out of reach of young children. Not suitable for children under 5 years.

What comes with my order?

Each fan arrives in a branded Le BonPom pouch and protective box, ready to gift, store, or keep.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days before shipping. Delivery timing depends on the shipping method and destination.

Each fan is inspected and packed by hand before shipping. During product launches, holidays, or high-volume periods, processing may take longer.

Is the fan design patented?

Le BonPom’s fan structure is protected under utility patent pending.

Can I return my order?

Unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition and packaging. Please email hello@lebonpom.com with your order number to request a return.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and help resolve it.

Do you offer custom commissions?

Yes. Le BonPom creates custom fans for museums, exhibitions, events, brands, cultural retail, and private orders.
